When my colleague passed the KM710 to me, the phone looked ordinary enough. Turning it on was a different story: across the office it attracted some attention here and there (we see new products daily). The contrast between the lamps and purely white body is a bold, daredevil design that had kept me wow with a big O for some time. Flashes and vibes aside, the KM710 does not have any ground-breaking features, and is poisoned by slow operation and poorly designed control that had hurt generations of LG phones.

This phone is one bright illuminating torch! Note that the white surface is slightly reflective as well.
The data/hand-free adapter port has a slider door to protect it from dust and damage. It is not a standard mini-USB port so keeping the data cable is very important.
As the phone itself has no 3.5mm earphone jack, the adapter serves as the only way to use your favorite earphone. The adapter clings to the port strongly. Cautious people may like the firm attachment, but I am simply too impatient to see the benefit.
I used an Ultimate Ears SF 5 pro earphone to conduct the listening test. When listening to classical music, I noticed a significant loss of details. Mid frequency is acceptable, voice is neither sweet nor dry. Pop music is where the KM710 shines: the bass is deep, solid and does not dominate other frequencies.
The KM710 has two menu styles, grid (shown below) and wheel. In the wheel style you can only use the wheel but not the D-pad. While both styles are painfully slow to operate, the wheel style is particularly difficult to use. The wheel is not very responsive, and occasionally it needs a large turn to recognise the input.

This phone is all in for style, if subtlety and functionality are not your primary concern this phone may be a go for you. Though, KM 710 is in fair quality but within a reasonable budget finished.
